Pezula Estate, Knysna
24kw 3Phase Off-Grid solar system with 40kWh Battery we installed
Botha's Hill, Hillcrest, KZN
This is one of our largest residential Solar Installations
System:
It consisted of 200 solar panels, a single 50kWh Lithium-Ion Battery from Freedom-Won, 6 x Scheider XW 6.8kW hybrid inverters in a 3phase configuration AC coupled with a 50kW grid-tied Delta inverter.
Story:
This system is also coupled to a Diesel Genset for automatic changeover providing the ultimate off-grid solution. We would use similar designed systems for microgrid systems.
M.A.N. Truck factory, KZN
an 800kW Grid-tied system.
Story:
The Inverters we used were SMA Tripower units and the solar panels were ILB-Helios. This was the first motor vehicle assembly plant in the world to be 100% carbon neutral.
Thesen Island, Knysna
Installing a new pool light for a client on Thesen
Story:
the client called us in a panic because their earth leakage always tripping when they arrived on holiday, the aircons weren’t working and there was no way to heat up the house. After testing the circuits, the fault was narrowed down to the pool circuit. Finally, the pool light and transformer were replaced and all was in order
